Cost:
*$5.00 monthly maintenance fee if the account balance falls below $1,000.00

AdvantAge 55 Checking

Description: 
*A checking account for persons 55 and older that pays interest

Requirements:
*No Minimum Balance to Open Account
*Must be at least 55 years old to open an account

Money Market Account

Requirements:
*Minimum Balance to Open Account - $1,000.00
*Transactions are limited to 6 debits per month

Benefits:
*Attractive Interest rates earned based on the required minimum daily balance of $1,000.00

Passbook Savings Accounts

Description:
*An account that earns interest

Requirements:
*Minimum Balance to Open Account - $10.00
*Debits from this account are limited to 6 per month

Benefits:
*Interest is paid quarterly
*ATM Card available (Reissue/Replacement fee for lost cards assessed)

Cost:
*Activity fee of $2.00 per debit in excess of 6 debits per calendar quarter
*Interest rates may change at any time at the discretion of the bank

 
Health Savings Account

Description:
*A tax-exempt savings account that allows you to accumulate savings tax free to pay for qualified medical expenses

Requirements:
*You must be enrolled in a qualifying High Deductible Health Plan to open a Health Savings Account
*No Minimum Balance to Open Account

Benefits:
*Traditional check writing convenience for qualified medical expenses
*Monthly bank statements with images
*Earn interest on your HSA account. Interest is credited to your account monthly
*Free IRS reporting of your contributions and distributions
*Balances held in a HSA will automatically roll over from year to year

Business Banking

Certificates of Deposit

Description:
*We offer CDs with varying maturities ranging from 3 to 60 months.
*Come in and inquire about our rates on any of the above termed CDs

Benefits:
*You can receive your interest by check, have it deposited into any of your deposit accounts or have the interest deposited back into the CD

Cost:
*A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal

 
Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRAs)

Description:
*An account to supplement other pension plans or social security income you anticipate in retirement

Requirements:

*The Traditional and Roth IRA contribution limits are $5,000.00 for those under age 50.  Persons age 50 and over can make additional catch up contributions of $1000.00, for a total contribution limit of $6,000.00.  You can have both a Roth IRA and a Traditional IRA in the same tax year, but you can't exceed the contribution limit with your combined contributions to both accounts.

*Roth IRAs - Individuals may contribute up to $4,000.00 per year if their modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) is less than $120,000.00.

Benefits:
*Traditional IRAs Eligible savers may enjoy tax benefits during their income-producing years with a Traditional IRA, which is taxed at the then-current tax rate upon withdrawal


* Roth IRAs Are funded with after-tax dollars but grows and is distributed tax-free for qualified savers

Notice of Expiration of the Temporary Full FDIC Insurance Coverage for Noninterest-Bearing Transaction Accounts

By operation of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a noninterest-bearing transaction account (including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Beginning January 1, 2013, all of a depositor's accounts at an insured depository institution, including all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount ($250,000), for each deposit insurance ownership category.
